Maia Khubashvili joined St. Mark’s Place Institute for Mental Health in 2012 and since then she has been a proud member of the professional and caring team of this clinic. Maia obtained BA in Psychology from Hunter College and Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work. Maia also attended New York Milton H. Erickson Society For Psychotherapy and Hypnosis and completed it successfully. Previously Maia worked as a psychotherapist at St. Vincent’s Services Outpatient MH Clinic in Brooklyn, where she worked with children, adolescents and adults from all walks of life and gained a rich experience as a psychotherapist and a human being as well. She is a life-long learner and is always open to learn from each patient she works with, while sharing her knowledge and expertise in mental health. She is fluent in Russian and Georgian.
