Substance Use Disorder
Medically Controlled Outpatient Detoxification
If you goal is to completely stop, or if your goal it to be switch to a different substance, we can help.We detox patients from many different substances, some of the most popular substances we detox patients from are opioids (ex: oxycodone, percocet, heroin, kratum, and fentanyl), benzodiazepams (ex: xanax, clonazepam), and alcohol.
Buprenorphine
Buprenorphine (aka Suboxone) is used as an alternative medication to opioids. Opioids that are commonly abused are Percocet, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, heroine, fentanyl, and kratum. We will give you medications to make the time it takes to get the substance of abuse out of your system comfortable. Then, when the substance is low enough, we will start buprenorphine. We continue buprenorphine as long as you would like. It can be a couple of weeks, months, or even years, but when you are ready, we will gently decrease the buprenorphine.
We also offer Sublocade. Sublocade is an injectable buprenorphine that’s injected once a month.
Naltrexone
Naltrexone is an opioid blocker. Naltrexone can reverse the effects of opioids, and it can be used to block receptors so opioids will be blocked. We offer oral naltrexone, and injectable naltrexone (aka Vivitrol).
Naltrexone also works excellently in alcohol use disorder. Naltrexone can help decrease heavy drinking days.
